Our colleague in the American Studies department at UT, Janet Davis, has an op-ed in today’s New York Times, entitled “The Dog Ate My Birth Certificate.” Davis offers historical background on the responses to President Obama’s reference to his own eating of dog meat when growing up in Indonesia.
